Welcome

Welcome to my blog!
This blog will contain a log of my trail (no pun intended) to OctoberFest in, which for those outside of the know is a major horse show in Spring Field Mass. But first tell me introduce myself a bit. I'm an Anthroploy major at a New England college, which as I put that first probably says something about me. I grew up riding horses in my home state, starting when I was about five. The reason if I look back is not quite clear, probably just simple childhood actraction to horses. Whatever the reason I was hooked and have been riding ever since. My horse's name is Pops, he has a much longer show name, but in respect for his privacy I will decline from mentioning it. We became a team, and I mean team because I'm not really sure who is the owner of who in this relationship, in 2001, and while we've done local and state shows this will be our first major show.
